We have 2 more days left of 5th grade. We will be 6th graders next year.  5th grade was a lot fun. My Teachers were Mrs. Harrod and Mr. Farmer. We got to go to Camp kern.  Mrs. Harrod was really nice and funny. Mr.Farmer was also really nice and funny. Also in 5th grade we did lots of fun activities for Earth Week like reading to younger grade levels. I read to 4th grade Mr. Larmer’s  class and Mrs. Cornell’s class. I read Water Dance to both class. I am going to miss 5th grade.

    Over the summer I am going to Florida.  I am going to Florida to visit my grandpa. At Florida I am going to the beach.   When I go to the beach I always look for seashells to bring home. I also look at fish in the ocean. I am excited for Florida.

      Yesterday I finish Amina’s Voice  it was a really awesome book in my opinion.  In the book this girl name Amina is in chores and they do solos.  Her best friend soojin thinks she should do solo but, Amina does not like to sing in front of people by herself.  Amina is a good piano player.  Amina’s uncle comes over for a few mounts. Soojin wants to change her name to something more american than Soojin.  Soojin starts hanging out with this other girl named Emily and Amina starts getting jealous. Soojin still hangs out with Amina though. This is a amazing book.

Tomorrow is Global Adventure Day.  On Global Adventure Day different grades and class learn about countries from all around the word like, Africa, Australia, and others.  In 5th grade i’m not sure until tomorrow we learn about.  If you’re in 5th grade we go in different 5th grade classes and learn about the country. So do other grade.  We do fun activities.

Camp Kern was so so fun.  The consolers we so nice there.  The food there was good too.

Today was the 5th grade concert at school.  There were 5 songs that we did in chorus. The songs we from all over the world.  We have another chorus concert tonight. The chorus concert was a lot of fun.

Nielsen that’s is what you’ll get…and more.  Having just finished this amazing book , I can honestly rate it a five out of five stars.  Between the crisp, detailed word choices and the well-developed and highly entertaining plot, this book offers endless adventures and intrigue. Let me explain.

 

Jennifer Nielson does an extraordinary job of connecting just the right words together; it is easy to close your eyes and feel like you’re watching a movie. For example, in chapter one, Jennifer Nielsen says, “His laughter was quickly followed up with a kick to my back that chased my breath away.” Those words are so descriptive,  I could picture it.

 

If you’re looking for for something to read that keeps you on the edge of your seat, this is the book for you.  The storyline moves along nicely, never leaving too much time to get board. One of my favorite scenes is when Conner picked Roden to be the prince, but Conner saw Sage roll the coin on his knuckles like prince Jaren and he pick Sage to be the prince.

As I hope you can see, The False Prince is an amazing book. There are plenty of beautiful description that sucks you into the story and the plotline is fast moving exciting. I hope you’ll run…not walk to your nearest library to pick up The False Prince. Oh, and there are two sequels to keep the fun going.

       My favorite thing to do at the beach is to go in the ocean and find sea shells.  I also like to find seashells in the sand. I like to make sand sandcastles in the sand. I like to make holes in the sand.  I like to see fish in the ocean

Tomorrow is the book and art fair.  In the book fair people can get book and keep them but they cost money.  I the art fair people look at arts that you did in art class. It is so cool that we do a book and art fair.  I can’t wait to get book and look at my arts at the book and art fair.
